Trilateral contact group to video conference with "DPR/LPR" representatives on April 1
On Wednesday, April 1, the trilateral contact group will hold a video conference with representatives of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DPR/LPR) to discuss the situation in eastern Ukraine, Daria Olifer, the press secretary of Ukraine's representative in the group Leonid Kuchma, has said.
"Tomorrow, on April 1, the participants of the trilateral contact group will talk to the representatives of certain areas in Donetsk and Luhansk regions via a video conference. The de-escalation of the situation in eastern Ukraine and the exchange of prisoners and illegally detained persons are to be discussed during the meeting," she wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
Olifer also reported that the participants of trilateral contact group – the second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov, and OSCE representative Heidi Tagliavini – had met on March 30.
