U.S. ambassador to Ukraine says separatists didn't withdraw heavy weapons from front line
U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt has said that he has confirmation of the reports that the militants in Donbas have not withdrawn their heavy weapons from the front line as they claimed to have done.
Despite claims about the complete withdrawal of heavy weapons, we can confirm that the separatists continue to place heavy weapons near the front line, Pyatt wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
He also said that Russian advanced surface-to-air missile systems were still deployed near the front line, which violates the Minsk agreements.
