Judge Kytsiuk released with requirement to wear electronic anklet
Vinnytsia city court has passed judgment on judge of Pechersky district court in Kyiv Viktor Kytsiuk, he was released with the requirement to wear an electronic anklet, the press service of Kyiv prosecutor's office reported on Friday.
The court's decision becomes effective on Friday, March 13. The parties have a right to appeal within five days, reads the statement.
Kyiv prosecutor's office said that Vinnytsia city court had passed the same judgment on a different judge of Pechersky district court in Kyiv, Oksana Tsarevych.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada agreed to the arrest of three judges of Kyiv's Pechersky District Court, Serhiy Vovk, Viktor Kytsiuk and Oksana Tsarevych. On March 10, they were suspended for two months.
Kytsiuk and Tsarevych are suspected of knowingly making an unlawful judgment out of personal interest, as the judges ruled against Automaidan participants by stripping them of driving licenses for six months.
