EU foreign ministers discuss ways to support Minsk agreements implementation - Mogerini
The foreign ministers of the EU member states during informal talks in Riga on Friday focused on how they can facilitate the implementation of the Minsk agreements in Ukraine, European diplomacy chief Federica Mogherini said on Friday.
The way in which the EU can help the implementation of the Minsk agreements has been mainly discussed today, she said at a press conference in Riga on Friday, adding that the enhancement of the OSCE mission was one of the options.
According to her, among other things, the ministers discussed what reforms that Ukraine needs, including the decentralization of power.
They also discussed the ways to provide more efficient humanitarian support to Ukrainian population, Mogherini said adding that the EU will be working on it more actively.
