Tusk: Minsk agreements for Ukraine inspire hope but this is not enough
The latest Minsk agreements for Ukraine inspire hope but this is not enough, European Council President Donald Tusk told reporters in Brussels.
He welcomed that event and said it was inspiring but hope alone is not enough.
Given the circumstances, it is of paramount importance to fulfill the ceasefire agreement for eastern Ukraine, Tusk underlined.
He also said that one should be careful offering opinions on this situation.
Tusk said he had discussed the outcome of the Minsk negotiations with German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, a participant in the negotiating process.
