Klimkin hopes for swift Contact Group meeting over Donbas
The Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine could get together in the next few days, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.
"We are working on this, I am very hopeful there will be a meeting in the next few days but the date must be set by the Trilateral Contact Group itself," he told reporters in Kyiv on Wednesday.
The Trilateral Contact Group has been meeting in a format that involves Russia, Ukraine and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). The Minsk format involves Russia's Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov, Ukraine's ex-president Leonid Kuchma, the OSCE Special Envoy Heidi Tagliavini, as well as representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics.
