Two people were killed in attack on Azotny microdistrict - Donetsk administration

The Donetsk microdistrict of Azotny came under fire on Thursday afternoon, the Donetsk city council said on its website.

At least two people were killed and six were wounded in the attack, the council said.

The two people killed in the attack are believed to be civilians, the city council said.

The Ivan Prykhodko, the head of the Donetsk Kyivsky district administration, said on Facebook: "Azotny has just come under fire. Many casualties, Hospital 23 has been damaged. School 23. Many casualties. The details will be available later."

Prykhodko said later: "As of now, two people have been killed and six have been wounded."
