Sound of artillery gunfire heard in Donetsk again

Last night was relatively quiet in Donetsk but artillery fire and explosions resumed in the morning, says a report posted on the city authorities' website.

"Tensions persist in Donetsk. Residents in all city districts say they can hear the sound of artillery salvoes and explosions," it said.

The ongoing hostilities are hindering reconstruction work, the report added.
