Donetsk authorities report non-stop shelling in city

The situation is extremely tense in Donetsk on Thursday, the city administration said on its website.

"Large-caliber gun salvoes and explosions can be heard in all districts of the city non-stop," it said.

Water is supplied to all parts of Donetsk.

"All key facilities and enterprises are working today. But their personnel have been put on high alert and fear further damage to enterprises in the Kyivsky, Kuibyshevsky and Petrovsky districts," it said.
