Blasts reported in all parts of Donetsk in the morning - mayor's office

Salvoes from large-caliber guns were reported in many parts of Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, last night, but no residential buildings were damaged, the city administration said on its Web site.

"The cannonade could be heard in all districts of the city as of 0930. Specialists of the Donetskmiskgaz emergency service reported damage to a medium-pressure gas pipeline and a gas leak at 3 Polihrafichna Street, leaving the boiler room of the city's Donechchyna publishing house without gas," the Donetsk mayor's office said on Friday.

Sixty winter service vehicles are working on the streets of Donetsk today. The city's services and public transport are functioning as usual.
