About 270 international election observers arrive in Kharkiv region
About 270 international observers have already arrived in Kharkiv region to monitor early elections for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, an adviser to the Kharkiv regional governor, Serhiy Storozhenko, has said.
"There are about 270 international observers in our region. There are some 400 different public organizations that want to act as observers. We have eight OSCE members, and this figure is growing... There were seven Russians," he said at a press conference on Wednesday.
He also noted that the number of international observers could grow before the polling day.
