Poroshenko forecasts complicated talks with Putin in Milan
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko forecasts complicated negotiations with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Milan next week.
"I will have a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Milan in six days. Jointly with the leaders of European countries: the German Chancellor, the Prime Minister of Italy, the British Prime Minister, the leaders of the European Union. You know, I do not expect that these negotiations will be easy. But it's not new for me, I have a huge experience of holding the most complicated diplomatic negotiations. But I am an optimist," Poroshenko said, speaking in Kharkiv region on Saturday.
He also expressed belief that, in the end, all the points of his peace plan to resolve the situation in Donbas would be met.
