Gunfire heard in Donetsk - city authorities

The situation remains tense in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, on Thursday as gunfire and explosions can be heard in most parts of the city, the Donetsk administration said on its website.

The city's infrastructure is functioning normally, it said.

However, emergency services are still unable to begin repairing a conduit supplying water to the Kuibyshevsky reservoirs that was damaged by a shell on October 8.
