Explosions, gunfire heard again after quiet night in Donetsk - city council

Sunday night into Monday passed without hostilities in Donetsk. Occasional volleys of gunfire and explosions have been heard this morning, the city council said on its website.

"As of 1000 residents have reported occasional volleys of gunfire and explosions heard in the Kirovsky, Kuibyshevsky and Kyivsky districts," the statement said.

According to the latest reports, two Donetsk residents were killed and another 13 sustained various shrapnel wounds on October 5.

Critical infrastructure assets in the city are operating as usual. Public transport services are running according to schedules.
