Two civilians killed in artillery fire in Donetsk suburb

Two civilians have been killed in artillery fire in the town of Mospyne just outside the city of Donetsk, the Donetsk City Council said on Thursday.

"Artillery fire was resumed in the town of Mospyne at around midday. Reports about damage to infrastructure and residential buildings are being verified. There have been reports about two killed civilians," the statement said.

Locals said remote sounds of gunfire and explosions are heard periodically in central Donetsk.
