Cannonade heard throughout Donetsk - City Council

Donetsk residents woke up to the heavy gun cannonade on Monday morning. People said the cannonade had been heard practically throughout the city, the City Council press service reports.

The city authorities have not reported any casualties as of yet.

Public utility services are working. Repairmen are restoring damaged power lines. As of 0800 local time, 88 transformer substations remained incapacitated in Donetsk.

Public transportation is operating normally. Streetcars, trolleys, buses and mini-buses are operating on a weekend schedule.
