Ukrainian sanctions include ban on parties, religious organizations
The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has proposed adding to its sanctions a ban on political parties and public and religious organizations, according to the bill "On sanctions" approved by the Ukrainian government on Friday.
The possibility of introducing this ban is being proposed as a type of sanction in one of the clauses of the bill.
In addition, the bill cuts cultural exchanges, scientific cooperation, educational and sports relations, entertainment programs involving foreign countries and foreign companies.
The document also proposes banning transfer of technologies, rights to intellectual property and stripping of Ukrainian state honors.
Under the bill, international agreements mandated by the Ukrainian parliament could be terminated.
Formal visits, sessions and negotiations on the subject of agreement signing can also be canceled.
