Japanese government approves sanctions against Russia
The Japanese Cabinet of Ministers on Tuesday formally endorsed the sanctions list against Russia in connection with the situation in Ukraine, local media reported.
The Japanese government announced the sanctions last week.
The list includes 40 people who, according to the ministers, "were directly involved in the annexation of Crimea and the destabilization of the situation in Ukraine," including former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and senior Crimean officials.
In the list also includes two Crimean companies - Chornomornaftogaz and Feodosia.
