Shmyhal discusses expanding cooperation with Japanese ambassador

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has held a conversation with Japanese Ambassador Masashi Nakagome, during which he discussed the country's involvement in the implementation of projects in a number of important areas, in particular, the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers.

"Expanding cooperation was discussed during a meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Masashi Nakagome. He emphasized that Ukraine is open to the exchange of innovations and technologies that can save lives and strengthen peace. He thanked Japan for its comprehensive assistance. He invited Japanese partners to join the implementation of projects in a number of important areas, in particular, the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers. He also proposed to consider supporting one of the centers where servicemen of the Defense Forces released from captivity are rehabilitated," Shmyhal wrote following the conversation.

The Prime Minister thanked the Japanese government and people for their solidarity. "Japan is a reliable partner, whose support is extremely tangible for our country," Shmyhal emphasized.
