Donetsk city council reports fighting near Zhovtneve

There is fighting in Donetsk on the territory of the settlement of Zhovtneve on Thursday, the official Web site of the city mayor and the city council has reported.

"Active fighting in the territory of the village of the Zhovtneve Mine in Donetsk as of 1230 local time. The epicenter is Kremliovsky Avenue. Residents of the Kyivsky and Kuibyshevsky districts clearly hear sounds of explosions and shooting," the report says. A sanitation truck was damaged in the fighting. The driver survived.
