Ukrainian Defense Ministry says over 1,200 servicemen wounded in eastern Ukraine
A total of 1,236 servicemen were wounded since the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine started, Ukrainian Defense Ministry military and medical department director Vitaliy Andronatiy said.
"Since the anti-terrorism operation started 1,236 people were wounded. As of now, a total of 745 [troops] wounded are different hospitals across the country, of them 36 are severely [wounded]," Andronatiy said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
