European Parliament to discuss events in eastern Ukraine
The escalation of violence in the conflict between militants and government forces in eastern Ukraine will be the subject of debate at a plenary session of the European Parliament (EP) in Strasbourg on Tuesday, the EP's press service has reported.
The discussion will be attended by EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule.
MEPs will also discuss the recently signed association agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
MEPs will also adopt a resolution on Ukraine on Thursday, July 17.
