Ukraine not to hold official talks with LPR, DPR representatives, consultations possible only within contact group - Chaly
Ukraine's presidential administration has said that Kyiv will not hold talks with representatives of the so-called Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
"We are not currently talking about any official negotiations with the terrorists, this is unacceptable. But the contact group, which has already held meetings with the participation of the OSCE, [Russian] Ambassador [to Ukraine Mikhail] Zurabov and [second Ukrainian President] Leonid Kuchma, is ready to continue holding consultations," Deputy Head of Ukraine's Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly said at a briefing on Wednesday.
