Armed people seize office at regional archive building in Donetsk - authorities

Armed persons entered one of the offices of the Donetsk region's archives, located on Cheliuskintsiv Street in Donetsk, at around noon on Friday, the Donetsk regional administration said in a press release.

These people have demanded that archive employees hand all documents kept in this part of the archive and the keys to its offices over to them, it said.

"Six female employees remain in the archive building at the moment. This part of the archive stores documents linked with industrial enterprises of the region, as well as salaries paid to people in this region at different times," according to the press release.
