Militants trying to withdraw cash, arms from Donetsk – NSDC

Militants in Donetsk and Luhansk have started evacuating from the building of Donetsk Regional State Administration, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has reported.

"[The] terrorists' … aim is to withdraw from the city all of their accumulated financial resources and weapons," spokesman of the NSDC information center Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.

"Chechen mercenaries are responsible for organizing security and guarding [the administrative building]," he added.
