Declaring real ceasefire to be discussed at consultations in Donetsk - Medvedchuk
Declaring a real ceasefire between conflict parties will be the main issue to be discussed on Friday during consultations in Donetsk of the contact group on settlement in eastern Ukraine, leader of the Ukrainian Choice public movement Viktor Medvedchuk said.
"The main strategic task - which will be resolved on June 27 at the meeting in Donetsk of the contact group with the participation of representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republic - is the following. Firstly, to declare a regime for a real ceasefire by both conflict parties. Secondly, to develop and pass regulations on truce in Donbas. Thirdly, to establish control on following the truce regulations with the help of international monitors under the OSCE aegis," Medvedchuk was quoted as saying in a statement posted on the movement website.
