No emergencies or armed clashes were reported in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, last night, the city mayor's office said on its Web site, adding the situation in the city remains stable.
All local utilities and emergency services, as well as public transport are operating as usual.
The situation in the city of Luhansk has been relatively quiet in the past 24 hours, a Luhansk administration spokesman has said.
"The administrative center's utilities and emergency services are functioning as usual. There have been no disruptions to public transport services either. The city has sufficient stockpiles of food, medication and fuel," the spokesman said.
