Avakov "thanks" Russia for launching criminal inquiry against him, Kolomoisky
Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov views the criminal inquiry launched by the Russian authorities against him and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration, Ihor Kolomoisky, as a high praise of their work for the benefit of Ukraine.
"'The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case against the governor of Dnipropetrovsk region, Ihor Kolomoisky, and Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.' … Thank you for highly rating my and Ihor Vasylyovych's work," Avakov wrote on his Facebook page.
Avakov also said he is set to continue to serve Ukraine in good faith.
It was reported that the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case over the organizing of murder and prohibited warfare methods with respect to the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and the Ukrainian interior minister.
