29th meeting in Ramstein format starts online

The 29th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Issues of Ukraine (in the Ramstein format) is taking place online on Monday, July 21, under the leadership of the United Kingdom and Germany.

More than 50 partners of Ukraine joined the meeting, including the NATO Secretary General, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and the US Secretary of Defense, as well as dozens of Alliance and partner countries.

Ukraine is represented by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, for whom this is his first time participating in Ramstein. Also present alongside him is Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, who until recently was the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
