Acting Ukrainian foreign minister meets with Voice of America director
Acting Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Deschytsia has met with Voice of America Director David Ensor on Tuesday.
"During the meeting, Deschytsia and Ensor exchanged opinions on the condition and prospects of informational cooperation between the governments of Ukraine and the U.S.," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Deschytsia praised the efforts the U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors is making to support independent public media outlets in Ukraine and the circulation around the world of impartial and unbiased information on the events in Ukraine "amid informational aggression on the part of the Russian Federation," the ministry said.
"The parties agreed to further expand cooperation and exchange experiences through pursuing joint information projects aimed at increasing Ukraine's presence in the world informational environment," it said.
