All customs offices in Luhansk, Donetsk regions are working normally - Income Ministry

The Ukrainian Income and Tax Ministry has not closed customs posts to cargo clearance and they are working normally, Ukrainian First Deputy Income and Tax Minister Ihor Bilous said.

"We didn't close anything, everything is working there," he told a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.

The State Border Guard Service earlier told Interfax-Ukraine some checkpoints had been closed on the Russian border in Luhansk region. The agency said these measures had been taken due to the security situation in the region.

According to the State Border Guard Service, the personnel of some border guard units in Luhansk region have been redeployed to the Russian border.
