Japan hands over chemical identifiers to Ukrainian customs officers
Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Masashi Nakagome presented chemical identifiers to employees of the State Customs Service of Ukraine in order to increase the level of cross-border security.
As reported by the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine on the social network X on Monday, the ceremony took place during the diplomat's visit to the Krakivets checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border.
"On July 28, Ambassador Nakagome visited the Krakivets checkpoint to familiarize himself with the joint work of the State Border Guard and State Customs Services of Ukraine in the field of border management. He presented the State Customs Service with chemical identifiers to strengthen security on both sides of the border," the message says.
