Rail traffic normal, public transportation resumes in Donetsk - mayor's office
Rail traffic through the main train station of Donetsk has been normalized, the mayor's office said on Wednesday.
"Suburban train traffic is normalized. Long-distance trains leave according to schedule," the office said in a statement.
Public transportation has also resumed running in the city. "On May 28, 155 trolleybuses, 114 streetcars, 89 buses and 801 shuttle minibuses are back in service," the statement said but added that some of the routes had been changed and one trolleybus service was still not operating.
"Utilities are operating normally," and the mayor's office runs a telephone hotline accessible from both landline and mobile phones, it said.
However, the city airport remains closed.
