Eighteen of thirty-four district election commissions in Donetsk and Luhansk regions captured – CEC
Two district election commissions have been captured in the town of Horlivka of Donetsk region, according to the recent reports of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The representatives of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" seized buildings of the district commissions Nos. 56-57 in Horlivka on Thursday.
All computer and office equipment as well as the election documentation have been removed from the buildings. The aggressors demand the commission to give them a seal.
Now the work of both commissions is frozen.
As of 1530 on May 22, the work of eighteen of thirty-four election commissions in Donetsk and Luhansk regions has been stopped fully or partially.
