Kyiv to limit time Russians may stay in Ukraine to 90 days within 180-day period, says Foreign Ministry
Ukraine intends to introduce a requirement that the stay of a citizen of the Russian Federation in the country should not exceed a total of 90 days during a period of 180 days per year, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported.
"Given that the Russian side has started to use such a formula for our citizens, this formula will be applied with respect to citizens of the Russian Federation - 90 days within 180-day period," Director of the Consular Service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
According to him, they are currently working on putting this requirement into practice.
The 90 days will be calculated from the date of the first entry into Ukraine.
