Deschytsia, Teniukh appointed acting Ukraine's foreign, defense ministers

Admiral Ihor Teniukh has been confirmed as acting defense minister and Andriy Deschytsia as acting foreign minister of Ukraine on Thursday.

Acting President Oleksandr Turchynov's nomination of Teniukh and Deschytsia to the ministerial posts was confirmed by the parliament on Thursday.

Under the constitution, the defense and foreign ministers and the Security Service chief are to be nominated by the president, and the nominations are subject to parliamentary approval.
