Maidan's Council agrees candidates for ministers of culture, economy, youth and sports
The Council of Maidan and Ukrainian MPs have agreed on the candidates for some positions in a government of the people's trust.
Actor Yevhen Nyschuk, who acted as a host on the stage erected on the Independence Square in Kyiv during the protests, has been agreed as a candidate for the post of the culture minister, the founder of Kyiv Mohyla Business School, President of Kyiv School of Economics Pavlo Sheremeta for economy minister and Automaidan activist Dmytro Bulatov for the youth and sports minister, one of the participants of the meeting told Interfax-Ukraine.
Maidan commandant and Batkivschyna MP Andriy Parubiy, is a candidate for the post of the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Leader of the Right Sector movement Dmytro Yarosh and CEO of the Institute of Mass Information Viktoria Siumar may become his deputies.
The source did not rule out that the candidates for these posts might change.
