Yanukovych's representative at Rada unaware of fate of Friday bills
Yuriy Miroshnychenko, the Ukrainian presidential representative at the parliament and a member of the Party of Regions of Ukraine, is unaware of the fate of the bills that the Verkhovna Rada passed on Friday and that President Viktor Yanukovych was supposed to sign into law.
"As a matter of fact, the bills for which we voted yesterday were supposed to reach the presidential office this morning. The president was ready to sign them in the morning. Have they reached the presidential office? They had to be prepared technically, and the Verkhovna Rada chairman said they were supposed to be prepared in the evening, and the president was ready to sign them. I cannot comment on what's happened since the moment I took part in the conciliatory council meeting last time," Miroshnychenko told journalists on Saturday.
He promised that, if he has any new information on the matter, he would share it with the press.
