Rada instructs speaker Turchynov to coordinate govt's work before coalition govt's formation

Newly-elected Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov will coordinate the work of the Cabinet of Ministers before the formation of a coalition government.

The decision was supported by 314 parliamentarians out of the 329, who had signed in at the session hall on Saturday.

"The Verkhovna Rada resolves to instruct parliamentary Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov to coordinate and guide the Cabinet of Ministers' work before the formation of a coalition government," Turchynov said in reading out the resolution.
