Seventeen lawmakers have withdrawn from the Party of Regions' faction in the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, Parliament Deputy Speaker Ruslan Koshulynsky said.
The 17 faction members are: Serhiy Buriak, Tariel Vasadze, Kateryna Vaschuk, Mykola Dzhyha, Oleh Zarubinsky, Hryhoriy Kaletnyk, Oleh Kulinich, Ivan Kurovsky, Volodymyr Makeyenko, Yaroslav Moskalenko, Volodymyr Pylypenko, Anatoliy Pryhodsky, Mykola Soroka, Vitali Khomutynnik, Volodymyr Zubyk, Oleksandr Hereha, and Stanislav Berezkin, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent said.
