Party of Regions MP says Yanukovych ready to make concessions
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is prepared to make further concessions in an effort to restore peace in the country, Yanukovych's advisor and Party of Regions MP Hanna Herman said.
"The president of Ukraine will make concessions in order to restore peace," she said, when commenting on the latest round of crisis settlement talks in the presidential administration.
Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza said on its website earlier, citing Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, that the Ukrainian president had announced his readiness to call snap presidential and parliamentary elections, establish a unity government and change the constitution.
Yanukovych discussed possible solutions to the Ukrainian crisis with the foreign ministers of Poland, France and Germany on Thursday.
