Kyiv residents are leaving the right bank of the Dnieper and traffic in the direction of the left bank of the river is tight, an Interfax correspondent has reported.
Fewer and fewer people are to be seen in the quarters in central Kyiv where no clashes are occurring. People who were allowed to leave work early are leaving the center of the city and the right bank of the Dnieper.
Employers have let their employees get off work early in organizations located in central Kyiv and on the outskirts of the city.
The Kyiv metro is not working yet. Ground-based transport is rare. There is a long line at the railroad ticket office at the Vydubichi rail station.
