Kyiv has taken into account the EU Foreign Affairs Council conclusions of February 10, 2014 on Ukraine, a Foreign Ministry spokesman has said.
"Ukraine has taken into account the conclusions approved by the EU Foreign Affairs Council on February 10. In general, we note the EU's balanced and constructive position on the events in Ukraine and the further development of relations between Ukraine and the EU on the basis of a comprehensive dialogue and further cooperation," the director of the ministry's information policy department, Yevhen Perebyinis, said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He said that the Ukrainian government shares most approaches outlined in the EU Council conclusions on settling the crisis in the country.
In particular, the Ukrainian side agreed with the EU's position on the need to engage in dialogue, refrain from violence and hold peaceful demonstrations.
