Justice Ministry denies any legal problems with repeal of January 16 laws
The Ukrainian Justice Ministry has denied reports that there are any problems with the implementation of the provisions of the law of January 28 canceling the laws adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on January 16.
"Starting from February 2, 2014 the laws adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on January 16, 2014 are no longer valid and, therefore, the previous wording of the provisions of codes and laws that were earlier amended was restored from this date," the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
