Yanukovych to form crisis commission on Monday morning – Klitschko
Leader of the UDAR Party Vitali Klitschko says that during their meeting on Sunday President Viktor Yanukovych said that a commission would be set up on Monday morning from representatives of the presidential administration, the Cabinet of Ministers and the opposition to address the political crisis in the country.
Klitschko said this after the meeting with Yanukovych in the president's Mezhyhirya residence, a statement on the UDAR Party's official Web site reads.
"We together with parliamentarians came to Mezhyhirya and were waiting for a half an hour at the cordon of the interior troops who did not let us in. Then they let only me in. I told [the president] about the demands of the people who had been participating in protest rallies on Maidan [Nezalezhnosti, or Independence Square in Kyiv] for two months. Also [I told the president] the political crisis needs to be addressed immediately," Klitschko said.
