Real threat of crackdown on Maidan protesters, opposition leader Tiahnybok says

Leader of the opposition Svoboda Party Oleh Tiahnybok says there is a real threat of a forced crackdown on protesters on Kyiv's Independence Square, or Maidan Nezalezhnosti, after clashes between unidentified young men and police downtown Kyiv on Sunday.

"There is a real and serous threat of a crackdown on our Maidan," he said addressing people from the stage on Independence Square on Sunday evening.
