Lithuanian foreign minister brings 'euromittens' to Maidan
Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius visited Euromaidan in Kyiv on Saturday.
"People in Maidan peaceful, calm but resolute and confident... Brings me back to Vilnius 23y ago," he wrote on his Twitter page.
He also wrote that he brought "euromittens from Lithuania to warm up Ukrainian hands and hearts" and posted a photo where he hands the mittens to protesters in Kyiv.
After his meetings in Ukraine on Friday he wrote: "Full day of meetings in Ukraine. No other way forward but consensual agreement and modernization of the country. AA [Association Agreement] is a solution."
