Fule notes lack of specifics about Kyi v-Brussels dialog on Association Agreement with EU
European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Policy Stefan Fule has made it clear that there is a lack of specifics regarding the dialog between Kyiv and Brussels on an Association Agreement.
At a press conference in Brussels on Monday he declined to answer the question about the upcoming dialog: "I'm ready to continue the discussion with the Ukrainian delegation in Brussels or Kyiv. The obligations remain in force. The work is continuing, and whether these consultations are held in Kyiv or Brussels will depend on what the most effective contribution of this work to bringing us closer to resume the process of signing the Association Agreement will be like."
As reported, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych asked that a Ukrainian delegation hold a dialog about certain aspects of the implementation of the future Association Agreement. European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso agreed to this.
