European diplomats join opposition rally in Kyiv

European diplomats, in particular European Parliament Vice President Jacek Protasiewicz, former European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek, the former head of the Polish government, the leader of the Law and Justice party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, have joined the opposition veche [a popular assembly] in Kyiv, the press service of the Batkivschyna party has said.

The participants in the opposition rally are headed by opposition leaders Arseniy Yatseniuk, Vitaliy Klitschko, Oleh Tiahnybok and opposition deputies.

The people are chanting "The band – go away!" "Kyiv - get up!"
