Demonstrations in downtown Kyiv to last through November 29
The EuroMaidan demonstration supporting Ukraine's integration with Europe, which is being held on European Square in the center of Kyiv, will last through November 29, the action organizers said.
"We will stay on the square through November 29," EuroMaidan commandant Yehor Sobolev told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
He also said they were not planning to stage actions near the buildings of the Ukrainian government, the presidential administration and the Verkhovna Rada for now.
But EuroMaidan organizers cannot keep the protesters who may want to express their position near one of the aforementioned buildings from doing what they wish, he said.
